laps in life.

Here's a few things i rather be doing today.

relaxing in a hammockkkkkkkk

hanging out in my imaginary studio... (which is currently only my room)

im currently trying to reread harry potter.. very slowly. im still on the first one after almost 2 months. by no means am i an english person but i do like to read

hmmm sitting on my couch right now watching an old movie sounds great too.

or even learn how to run this dumb program... really this is what i should be doing.
...........and lastly.. i would love to be living in a place such as this.

i forgot where this place is. but wow. this looks like a dreamy and inspiring place to stay!

the other day i was talking to a dear friends about the days devotional in "The Utmost for His Highest" by Oswald Chambers.. highly recommend! and it talked about drudgery which i didnt really understand because of my lack in gift of reading comprehension. but what that word means is definitely the dose of medicine i needed.
drudgery - hard, menial or dull work.
being in school it so easy, for me at least, to question the purpose of why i am doing anything. it was just so encouraging to see that we are called to do drudgery work a lot of the time but still need to find the light and purpose in all of it. what we do now is preparing us for tomorrow. we are constantly stewards of the Lord, and i mean if Jesus washed feet and He was God then why do i complain about something as privileged as school? sorry for the word vomit just a little update on what ive been learning in life lately.
so even though i rather be doing those things im content and joyful where i am.
and sorry for the lack of capitals.. wasnt in the mood to pressing an extra button ever so often.

call me a nerd but...

I've decided that I want to start collecting books. Books with topics that mean something to me. Books with history and personality. Books that have personalized writing in them. Books with inspiring covers. Just books. This summer there was an old book store that we would go to on the weekends. The place smelled awfully of cats, but all the books had so much history. You could dig and find something interesting every time. We need some more of those in this town. Oh Books.
